Need a Question Answered About Your Business?

17 January 2010 by barblog, 12 Comments

Over the last seven days more than 1400 bars and restaurants followed the 7 Day Roadmap to a Profitable 2010. Amazing action has been taken by an amazing group of hospitality business owners. I have been inundated with questions about various parts of the program, so I have decided to use video to answer all of your questions.

You might have a question about Twitter for your bar, or you might want to know how to reduce staff theft in your restaurant or what to consider when you purchase a POS system. Whatever the question is (as long as it is related to your business) I will do my very best to answer it for you and publish the answer in video format for you to view.

I won’t reveal your business name unless you want me to, so just enter your question in the comments area below this video together with your name and city and keep checking back to see my response in video to your question. It really is that simple.

Think of this as free consulting for your business, in 3-5 minute bursts! I’ve had such great feedback from the 7 Day Roadmap, it inspired me to give more back to everyone who took the time to follow the steps each day. I look forward to hearing from you!

We are a small town centre bar in a small town in west yorkshire. Please could you give me some tips on increasing footfall based on the fact we have a wetherspoons round the corner which is competing substansially on price?

A very popular restaurant w/an 20 seat L-shaped bar and a service area at the end for servers lets the 3 bar tenders working any shift roam up & down with no assigned section nor one of the 3 designated for service exclusively.Sometimes the wait is long for servers and bar patrons/customers.Is it not sound business to assign them a section of the bar with responsibility for that area primarily?
    Thanks,
