What’s Missing from This Picture Outside a Restaurant?

The nice people at Smith & Wollensky built this handsome snowman opposite their restaurant in Easton, Ohio together with a signature cocktail in his hand. I was one of dozens of passer-bys taking his picture today and I’m sure by now hundreds of pictures have been taken and shared with family members and friends?

What’s missing from this picture? Any indication of where the snowman is. Only those who took the photograph knew that the restaurant was behind them as they took the picture.
By placing a Smith & Wollensky sign on the bench, or by having him holding a menu, they could have benefited from a lot of free viral exposure.
Nice touch S & W, but you missed a trick this time.

Point taken, Brands need time to be built; but it takes much more for the Brand to be positioned in the customer's mind.
In the hospitality and restaurant industry day by day I am running into poor quality images. This is different in Europe. Small, no name hotels and restaurants have brilliant websites.
To hire creative people is the name of the game, same as in the kitchen and management.
Actually it was the valets at Easton that built the snowman. Some guy gave them $40 to build it. Smith & Wollensky had nothing to do with it.
Ah ha! The mystery is solved! Thanks for that. Appreciate you taking the time to let me know. There's still time for Smith & Wollensky to make it their own though....;-)
Cheers,
Barry
